A free health screening campaign by IBS Foundation and the Somali Ministry of Health provided critical services to underserved rural communities, including:
- 600+ women and children receiving prenatal and pediatric care.
- 300+ malaria and diabetes screenings with same-day results.
- Nutrition workshops addressing acute malnutrition in the region.
“Many here walk 20km to the nearest clinic. Today, healthcare came to them,” noted Dr. Hassan Abdi, lead physician.


Key Outcomes:
- Early detection of 15+ chronic conditions, enabling timely treatment.
- Distributed 500+ hygiene kits (soap, mosquito nets, water purifiers).
